Blood of the Cursed

In a world of magic one thing rules above else; status. Those born into high status rule over those below them whether they're worthy to or not. The nobility fears very little, but what they fear above else is the Cursed and their blood.
While it's rare for a Cursed to be born it's far rarer for one to live more than a year. However, one has managed to live for nearly twenty years.
