It's been over a year since I've started reading this webtoon and I am absolutely in love with it. I read a lot of Lookism fanfictions lately so I thought I'll write one myself. I'm not sure if it's gonna be AMAZING but I'll try my best to make it entertaining...
The characters in the story (except my own) belong to the author Taejoon Park and his work 'Lookism'. I am merely making fanfiction and do not make any claim on his amazing work...
Ohh and, a bit of an insight into the story title, iridescence means:
the phenomenon of certain surfaces that appear to gradually change color as the angle of view or the angle of illumination changes.
And, a thing about the webtoon Lookism I've noticed is that it sees the same story from different angles and that changes the impression we get of the story considerably. So, I thought it fits...

The story revolves around two yakuza families and the arranged marriage of their heirs. The spoiled yet cunning girl, a skilled fighter, disappoints her family and is married off to unite the Yamazaki Syndicate with the Tenmisaki Order. However, Gun, who detests her, to no one's surprise, kills her and stages it as an elopement gone wrong to escape the alliance. So, what were you going to do when you stared into the mirror in a room you didn't recognize, maids at your beck and call, and an achingly familiar symbol carved into a tapestry decorating the room? Get away that's for sure. You may have loved the bastard to the point of gushing over him like a schoolgirl with a crush every time he appeared, but he was dead set on killing you. You were a hindrance. However, there was that small part of you that wanted to...talk to him at least. Meet him. Get to know him outside of Lookism. After all, your treacherous heart still yearned for him. So much so that the red thread of fate knotted in place, even if they were realities apart.
