8 years ago, .... the entire Half-Toon population was decimated from the United States of America by the evil entity known by many as Judge Doom. Before this one tried another ultimatum upon the Toon Realm in 1947, but met his demise at the hands of his deadly creation and with the help of courageous toons and humans. Now the toons are slowly but surely rebuilding their own society while facing their new found independence. But like a phoenix out of its ash something from both nature rises again.
But what would the toons say?

I've watched the games for as long as I can remember, but I never thought I'd be in there, fighting for my life, one day. Unnaturals are the curse of the world. They were once people, but in only seconds, they were changed and given unnatural powers. In order to keep them contained, North America creates an arena, a sort of gladiator battle, imprisoning the Unnaturals there and forcing them to fight to the death. And for the humans out there - make one mistake, and you'll be in there with them. Joel has made that mistake. He was caught unintentionally helping an Unnatural escape. Now he finds himself thrown into a world that's completely different from what he was told, and learns two very important things. These Unnaturals are just as human as he is. And there is no escaping the games alive. ... Intense trigger warnings for torture, heavy violence, depression, self harm, and suicide. Everyone in town knows about the sea monster. Every night, he goes into town to find his prey. He lures them in with his voice, only to bring them back to the ocean, to eat them. Few survive this, and the people who do, they lose their mind, like they were cursed. You can only gather from them that he was beautiful, his voice was like an angel's, and that when he took you into the ocean, he became a monster. He only hunted young men, women, teens, and the occasional twelve-year old. It was terrifying, because the people had no way to stop him. Every night, someone would go missing, or come back insane. They knew he lived in the ocean, and when people tried to bomb the area where they thought the monster lived, they would either be cursed, or just eaten by the sea monster himself. And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him. Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace. So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story. I saw another person do this and they used the same cover art, and I hope you guys like my version! I, personally very much like it and hope you guys do to! The Guardians were always there to protect the children after the Dark Ages. They made sure that the children still believed, still felt wonder, hope and dreams in their hearts.
