In July 1993, Nate Bennett takes a job as the night guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, unknowingly stepping into a mystery that has remained unsolved for years. Strange occurrences soon begin-animatronics that seems almost alive, an unshakable sense of familiarity, and eerie glimpses of something just beyond his understanding. Unbeknownst to Nate, his best friend, Javier, has been searching for answers for years. A former employee in the 1987 location, Javier witnessed strange happenings back then and realized that the animatronics weren't just machines-they housed the souls he' been looking for. Though the animatronics barely remembered him, he knew the truth and had been trying to uncover the full story for them ever since. Now, after years of searching, Javier finds Nate and sees him as the key to getting closer to the truth. As he investigate, he begin to piece together a past filled with tragedy, forgotten identities, and a dark force that has kept the pizzeria's secrets buried. But the deeper they go, the more dangerous the truth becomes-especially whenhe unfolds some memories are best left undisturbed to some of them.
