It is the year 20XX and although being a hybrid isn't as bad as it used to be, it still isn't easy. There still exists great prejudice against those who have the recessive trait that makes them this way.

Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook have been inseparable since before they could remember. Staying in the same orphanage, the two made a pact to always have each other's back. However, as the oldest, Jimin took on more responsibility and made it his goal to give Jungkook the best life he could, even if that meant not having a life himself. Scrounging for all the money he could, Jimin worked some of the worst jobs just to put the younger through college and buy him whatever he wanted.

Jungkook has been in love with Jimin for years, but has always been too shy to make a move. Kept in a life of naïvete, Jungkook never knew what Jimin put up with just so he would never have to struggle. When Jungkook learns of his elder's sacrifice, he finds himself even more territorial.
