After Lisanna comes back from Edolas and joins teams Natsu on mission, the little money Lucy would have received dwindled down to nothing, and went towards repairs and Lisanna's cut. After thinking hard and making a difficult decision, Lucy decided to quit team Natsu and go solo, hoping to grow stronger and line her pockets with jewels.
