The Creation of Oblivion

In Malibu, California, things are bustling and busy, just like usual for 17-year-old Avanlea; a girl aspiring to be a marine biologist. However, when the water levels in the oceans begin to rise, it sparks a worldwide panic; gas prices skyrocket, food begins to deplete, people begin to disappear. And when the oceans rise, creatures start to emerge from the depths of the ocean... creatures that have yet to have be discovered by anyone on earth. Or so everyone thinks.
