I apologized quickly to the man I was waltzing with before and walked away as the song, our song, came on. Merry Go round of life. The song sent me back to all those nights I danced with him to this song in the ballroom. I slowly walked toward the ballroom away from the garden and the people dancing, my eyes like rivers filled with grief and mourning. The pale pink ballroom where we once danced and laughed. I stopped in the middle and dried my tears, but then I heard his silky voice.
"Eleanor, my love, why do you think I would ever let you dance to this song alone?" he said. I gathered up the courage to turn around and there he stood. His eyes were cold but loving, his hair as shiny and grey like starlight, his lips a soft shade of pink. He looked as if he was real, but I knew he was just a hallucination from my grief. I also didn't care.

This is not my personal story but a story that a friend of mine is working on. Please tell me what you think about it in the comments so I can tell her! She is still writing the story so I will be making sure to update the book as much as I can. Also thank you so much for reading this story! It will most certainly make my friends day. I will not be sharing her name unless she wants me to.
