Violeta has never seen herself as a spontaneous person. All she's ever known is what she's been told: go to school, get a job, work, and that'll be your life. "The world is a dark place", her parents always said. Better safe than sorry. The taste for adventure has been prominent for as long as she can remember; the need for something, anything, more. But something had always stops her; perhaps it's that nagging voice in the back of her mind telling her it's pointless. Perhaps she's scared of the unknown. She knows she should listen to the voices. So how come she didn't? Violeta finds herself in the forest, giving in to the desire for just a small piece of excitement in her otherwise monotonous life. Even if that small piece comes from the simple act of exploring the wilderness. What she didn't expect is to witness a strange man unconscious and bloodied on the forest floor. She should've listened to her parents.
