Marvin Pate suffers from horrible nightmares that are making a terrible impact on his daily life and his mental health. He doesn't ever remember them, but he wakes up every night at the same time, screaming and covered in sweat. He decides to record himself sleeping so he can try to pick up any sleep talking that might be taking place and hopefully, use the recording to figure out what kind of dreams he is having. With no help from his therapist, Marvin has no choice but to look inside himself for help.
