Mature
Regency era, alternative story about Charlotte Heywood and Sidney Parker.

Sidney's mother is pushing him to marry and marry well to save the family from ruin. His pursuit is Mrs. Campion, a wealthy widow with a horrible personality. On the verge of asking her to marry him, he goes on a hunting trip to clear his head. What happens on this hunting trip changes his path in life forever.

Sidney POV

When I first had the idea for this story, I pictured a bear attacking Sidney. But doing research I found that bears are not common wild animals in England. I'm American and live in a state where bears are common. In doing research, I found that in the regency era there were wild cats that were referred to as phantom cats, panthers, jaguars, or leopards. Although, some accounts claim there is no such thing and stories were exaggerated. Anyway, for story purposes, this phantom cat exists.

I know it may not sound realistic, but as I said before, there were stories about these wild cats in some of my research. I also came across stories of the aristocratic and higher class bringing these exotic animals to England to show off and look grander to others. It reminded me of someone purchasing a dog as a puppy, thinking it'll be great. Then months later realizing these cute puppies grow up and destroy your home and chew everything up. I pictured a rich woman insisting she have one of these pure black cats on one of her many voyages to far off lands and her rich husband buying her the exotic animal. Then as this cat grew and suddenly the realization that it's a wild animal and could potentially kill someone, these high society people may just decide to let the animal go in the woods to fend for himself. Now this cat is alone in a land he doesn't belong and trying to survive, perhaps resenting man for the cruel way he was treated. Now I feel sorry for the panther. Anyway, that's the backstory on the panther and why it may be in a place it's not supposed to be.

[A/N]: Hey guys! Before I post this story, I was going to give a little insight. A very good friend of mine and I decided to write this book, and what better way to recieve constructive critcism than to share with everyone here on wattpad? I'm proud to say that we're nearly finished with it, around three to five more chapters need to be written. However, I will gladly post two chapters a week. Depending on the length, I could possibly split each chapter in two. Enjoy! -Skye & Jasmine My attempts to sleep failed miserably as realization hit me. Tonight was my last night unattached to someone. I swung my legs to one side of the bed. My bare feet brushed the cold floor and sent shivers up my spine. Scotland is much warmer this time of year. I took a few steps toward the window, but before I got too far I heard chatter just outside my door. "She’ll never be happy with him." The first voice, a female, was barely audible. "She could be. She’s just upset about Benjamin." A second voice, a man, replied to the woman. "She’ll never love Derick." A hint of anger played beneath the surface of the woman’s voice. I lay back down after that, so much for Emma accepting our marriage. Unhappiness coursed through my body and I became furious. I’d never love Emma either; with that I went to sleep. I dreamt of my mother singing in the castle, her voice was loud and demanding. Her words flowed so freely from her mouth and danced playfully down the halls. She was in the throne room singing to my father just as she always did. Her song was about the way she learned to love my father. Most marriages in Scotland are arranged, and due to our beliefs they have to work out. My mother had always been so madly in love with my father, but he was hesitant because he had to leave the woman he loved so dearly. So he let her go…

IF YOU HAVE NOT READ ASSASSIN'S CREED CHRONOS GO DO THAT IT'S THE PREQUEL: https://www.wattpad.com/story/31747666-assassin%27s-creed-chronos * Catherine thought she would live happily ever after with her family now that the Clock was destroyed and Rodrigo no longer a threat, but the Borgia are more tenacious and cruel than she realized. Her fight isn't over, but the odds are stacked against her. In a city ruled by the iron fist of their enemies, Catherine must face not only face the Templars, but also herself. EzioxOC My fans spoke, and I answered. Here is the sequel to Chronos. I didn't include this in the prequel due to the nature of this part of her life. Namely, because it doesn't involve the Clock. Not directly. This is a story about a young woman fighting to save her family. She's going to suffer some dark times, and it's going to challenge her relationship with Ezio in a very different way than before. As such, this story is going to involve some more mature themes. Some pretty dark scenes are going to happen or be alluded to, so here's your main warning. I'll try to warm ahead of chapters I feel may be particularly dark, but just know it's a darker tone over all (and also mature language). As usual, if you see any mistakes, please let me know! Editing is never 100% full proof, so I appreciate the help (sometimes my fingers/brain don't communicate well :() And don't be afraid to comment or share your opinion! I love hearing from y'all will do my best to reply to all your comments. :) Updates will be whenever I finish a new chapter, so hopefully on a weekly bases! Also, like with Chronos, I'll try to include more historically accurate events, which may involve skewing the game timeline. However, because this story is officially an alternate universe, I'm more willing to fudge things, but correct me if I get something that actually happened wrong! And with that all said, enjoy Assassin's Creed: Chronos_Retribution! -T.M.Wolf-

They took her. That's the last thing that burns in my mind, at least the most important thing that can come to mind. Everyone knew her, she was a sacred gem to the royals, her name was Tori LightningFlame. A dutchess soon to be married to Prince Spectre. That's how we all knew her, not how she used to roam through the walls of the city without permission (although I'm sure I only remember that), not how she would dance around the ballroom in her father's shoes with her friends until dawn. Everyone simply thought of her as a kind and generous person who would someday be our queen. But one day, Spectre thought differently, all I saw was when she was binded and screaming for help on the back of a horse driven carriage, guards yelling at her to quiet down or she would be burned. There was much talk arising in the lands after that day, some say she was taken and burned to her death miserably, others who speak the truth in our quaint town say she was taken away and cursed upon, making her a monster and could only thrive in her own world. Then we only believed that she was out of our lives and it was against the written laws to speak of her unless given permission. Even today, no one has spoken of her to me. And no one ever will. Possibly. When I was younger I heard most of the talk about Tori and Spectre being a stable boy, but it wasn't enough for me, I wanted a better job, I wanted to hear more about them, I wanted to be important there. So everyday for the past five years I've begged. And begged. And begged my father to let me at least attempt to become a squire. Ever since my tenth birthday I had hoped and wished for the day he would finally accept my plead. Every beck and call of mine was given in every form possible. Until one day he finally agreed. The day of my fifteenth birthday. It was an extraordinary day, one I could never forget.

Once upon a time in the hidden heart of France, a handsome young prince lived in a beautiful castle. Although he had everything his heart desired, the prince was selfish, spoiled, and unkind. He had an entire army of servants there to attend to his every need, most of which were there since his childhood. The prince nearly hated his staff, even when they'd done nothing wrong - and were only trying to meet his needs. One night, during one of the Prince's courting events - a special type of ball, where dozens of young woman would dress up and dance with the prince, in an attempt to win over his heart and become queen to the Kingdom - An uninvited guest arrived. It was a poor, shivering, elderly woman seeking shelter from the bitter winter storm. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince dismissed the woman. As a gift, the old woman offered the prince a single rose, but when he dismissed her again, the woman's outer appearance melted away. Only to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince begged for forgiveness, but it was too late - for she could see there was no love in his heart. The enchantress cursed the prince, transforming him into a hideous beast - and if he was unable to learn to love another, and earn their love in return by the time the last petal from the rose she offered had fallen, he would remain a beast forever. But the enchantress also placed the curse upon his innocent castle staff, who were transformed into antiques; suffering for the prince's mistake(s) in small, rusting, metallic bodies. Life was hard enough for the staff, but now - it was unbearable. ~ This story will go through the staff's struggles before, DURING, and after they were cursed. It will also fill plot holes and extend the ending of Beauty And The Beast. A majority of this story is a prequel, and will fall into a bit of a sequel as well, so I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
