Charlotte is the owner of a newly opened cafe and bakery. She takes pride in her shop and her baked goods. Sidney Parker comes in nearly everyday and finds something to criticize. They both make a lot of assumptions about each other but find discussing Pride and Prejudice at a Book Club tells them a lot about themselves and each other.
Written in dedication to the Sanditon Survival Book Club Facebook Group's 1st anniversary. Notice the similarities of the "Sanditon Steamy Brew Cafe?"
In the facebook group, I asked everyone who wanted to contribute to write a comment and discuss Pride and Prejudice. When we get to that part in the story, these are, for the most part, everyone's comments. I hope everyone who chose to contribute enjoys their little cameo in the story.
This is a short little story and I DO NOT plan to continue it.

Return to Sanditon - A Novella
A fan fiction written for those of us who endured the heart wrenching ending to the final episode of Sanditon (ITV, 2019). [As a possible Season 2] Andrew Davies has written a completion of the last unfinished manuscript by Jane Austen. It's set in 1819 in a new and developing seaside resort on the south coast. This adaptation brings a young Charlotte Heywood to the town where our heroine soon becomes entangled with the lives of the people there. Here, she meets the rather mysterious and taciturn Sidney Parker. As the series continues, love blossoms but things don't go to plan and the series ends on a heartbreaking cliffhanger. I pick up the story here ... This is the first work in Return To Sanditon - Novella Collection. This is a completing work designed to give viewers of Sanditon (2019) a happy ever after with some bumps in the road along the way. We pick up the story shortly after Charlotte's return to Willingden, where she confesses her heartbreak to her sister, Alison. Alison prompts her to seek help and so begins Charlottes campaign to save Sidney from his marriage to Eliza Campion and Sanditon from financial ruin. n.b This is a follow on from Andrew Davies screenplay and is not a sequel to the novelisation by Kate Riordan. It started with a coffee. Don't all good love stories involve coffee in some way or another? Charlotte is a college student living what she believes is a perfect life but why isn't she happy? She has a boyfriend, Jack who she's been with since she was an early teen. She has a massive group of friends. She's doing well at school From the outside life looks perfect.. Except her boyfriend acts like a totally different person since joining the new friendship group The massive group of friends, don't seem to like her. She's not like them and they know it. She's at a college that she didn't want to go to. Studying a degree she hates, because Jack was adamant, that they go there. And why would she argue against him? He's her forever, right? Life is mediocre but love is love and she does love Jack. Until she meets Liam. He's sits with a coffee at her job, enjoying a book. What are these sparks she's feeling? It's just excitement from meeting a new friend with similar interests right? Lies. Betrayals and Loss. Everything comes to light one night forcing Charlotte to accept new realities and maybe not everything is as perfect as they seem to be.Zakończone

Hold My Hand
Regency era, alternative story about Charlotte Heywood and Sidney Parker. Sidney's mother is pushing him to marry and marry well to save the family from ruin. His pursuit is Mrs. Campion, a wealthy widow with a horrible personality. On the verge of asking her to marry him, he goes on a hunting trip to clear his head. What happens on this hunting trip changes his path in life forever. Sidney POV When I first had the idea for this story, I pictured a bear attacking Sidney. But doing research I found that bears are not common wild animals in England. I'm American and live in a state where bears are common. In doing research, I found that in the regency era there were wild cats that were referred to as phantom cats, panthers, jaguars, or leopards. Although, some accounts claim there is no such thing and stories were exaggerated. Anyway, for story purposes, this phantom cat exists. I know it may not sound realistic, but as I said before, there were stories about these wild cats in some of my research. I also came across stories of the aristocratic and higher class bringing these exotic animals to England to show off and look grander to others. It reminded me of someone purchasing a dog as a puppy, thinking it'll be great. Then months later realizing these cute puppies grow up and destroy your home and chew everything up. I pictured a rich woman insisting she have one of these pure black cats on one of her many voyages to far off lands and her rich husband buying her the exotic animal. Then as this cat grew and suddenly the realization that it's a wild animal and could potentially kill someone, these high society people may just decide to let the animal go in the woods to fend for himself. Now this cat is alone in a land he doesn't belong and trying to survive, perhaps resenting man for the cruel way he was treated. Now I feel sorry for the panther. Anyway, that's the backstory on the panther and why it may be in a place it's not supposed to be.Zakończone
Heart Of Stone
What if Sidney and Charlotte were a little closer in age? What if they met as teenagers? What if instead of Eliza, Sidney lost Charlotte as a young man, only to find her again years later? Oneshot written for the Sanditon Valentine's Day Challenge. The Valentine's Day theme is subtle and not necessarily the main focus. Obviously, Sidlotte is the focus. When I decided to take on another challenge, I went searching for information about what Valentine's Day looked like during the Regency Era. Unfortunately, everything I came across said there was very little known about the customs of the time. Sending mass produced cards didn't become popular until the Victorian Era. All I could come up with was that heartfelt letters were passed to a sweetheart. I kept digging and came across a little something that I found quite interesting. I do not know the validity in this custom, but I still thought it might make an interesting theme for a story. I hope you all enjoy it.Zakończone

Sanditon Season 2: Finding Their Way Back To Each Other
Sanditon season 1 ended horribly. With no guarantee of a second season, I have to give Charlotte and Sidney a happy ending. Hopefully we get a second season, but for now this is my interpretation of season 2. There will be an HEA but it's going to take some time to get there. Charlotte and Alison are invited back to Sanditon to be Lady Denham's companions. When they arrive, Lady Denham quickly puts Charlotte in charge of the rebuild in Sanditon. What Charlotte wasn't expecting was Sidney Parker to show up at every turn.
