Shuichi has a crush on Kokichi, there's a rumor that he stalks Kokichi, HE DOESN'T. He is often bullied at school and abused at home. He often sits near Kokichi and he overheard that Kokichi's birthday is coming up, he decides to make something for it, and based on how Kokichi reacted, he would decide to or not to audition for Danganronpa.
