The zombie apocalypse sucks.
Of course, that's what everyone thinks of the worldwide, terrifying and world-ending occurrence that includes flesh-eating, decayed corpses whose bites infect you with the virus. But while everyone agrees that yes, the zombie apocalypse does suck, maybe you can make it less miserable when you've got friends and family.
Sable Odalys believes that. She clung to that belief for all it's worth. After all, that's what kept her humanity intact after all this time.
And maybe, just maybe, the shattered pieces of herself will be fixed if she does meet someone. Maybe those pieces will be put back together if she was given a purpose.
Maybe those shattered pieces won't stay shattered for long.

You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. They keep the secret, let the world believe the apocalypse is here, that the government didn't just kill the world, while they search for a cure. It's then that they learn of the one girl that hasn't been infected, she's immune, and they're going to do everything they can to get her. Cassandra Bryan, a 19 year old college student, is thrown into the world of the undead when she comes home to witness firsthand what the world has come to. All she wants is to keep her friends safe and find somewhere safe they can live, away from the horrors of the world. She travels the continent, trying to find somewhere she can stay. She faces unimaginable threats and has to learn to face her fears, or die at the hands of them. She faces many things and find some things. She faces death and sadness, faces the unthinkable. And she finds real friendship and even love. Is it possible to love in the apocalypse? She'll just have to find out. She learns of what the government did and that they are looking for her, and she runs, trying to keep her and her friends alive. But there's only so much one girl can do.
