Kayce Lewis, a newly deceased teenager, has now found herself to be a part of the Underworld. After falling in love with Jay Harrison, the demonic son of the Underworld King, her entire world changes.
With her new found powers, she remains on Earth trying to live like a normal person. She finds that occupying herself while being frozen in time isn't all that difficult, and actually enjoys it. That is, until Jay's father goes missing.
Jay finds out, and tries to keep the news from Kayce, but is now forced to take his place as King during his fathers absence. This isn't the best news for their new relationship.
Kayce will struggle to continue once she finds out what Jay has been up to, and even worse, where his father has been, and how they must get involved to save everything, and everyone, they love.
