I recommend reading Heart of Darkness, the first book so you know what is happening! Two month's after the events in 'Heart of darkness' Aurora Whitmore is living and training at the witches camp. It seems like she has nothing left, her friend and mother-figure Calia still trapped in the castle with the villainous king, her and Daphne not talking and not being able to find her mother. It seemed the only person she can trust is Cassian, though he has changed too. When a person thought to be dead shows up unexpectedly at the camp, Aurora must make a trip across that land of Lightwood to find a mystical crystal that could aide her in defeating the King once and for all. She will encounter creatures and face challenges she has never faced before. All the while testing her heart along the way. Will she fight through the pain she has lived through? Or will she be sucked into the darkness? Contains ~blood and gore~ ~some swearing~ ~mention of abuse and depression~ Don't say I didn't warn you!

Bad Guys

WARNING: This is a no morals dark romance story. Read at your own risk. Are you looking for a kind and loving heroine, to follow through an inspiring adventure for love and happiness? Well you won't find that here. Because the guy is bad, and the girl is worse... Apple had always been a lonely girl. She was different from the rest. In a way she could never change. And if she wanted to fit in, she would need to strip every piece of herself bare and start from scratch, remodel herself bit by bit into the perfect and untouchable girl she wanted to be. Especially if she didn't want a repeat of middle school. Cassian, on the other hand, had never struggled with making friends. Boys worshipped him, and girls flocked to his feet for attention. He had a natural playfulness and charm which always drew people to him. However, when Apple was first brought to his notice in the 7th grade after a certain event, both of their lives changed forever. And Cassian grew to hate Apple more then he'd ever hated anyone before. What could have happened between these two all those years ago? And will they finally reconcile now that they're in their final year of high school? Or will their mutual hatred escalate into something with actual lives at stake.
