From the outside it seems like Dixie lives the idyllic New York City fairy tale. She has the job a million girls would die for, a trust fund that could feed a third world country, and an incredible boyfriend who she knows is *this* close to proposing. When the illusion of her perfect world is shattered by betrayal, she's forced to pick up the pieces of a life she's beginning to no longer recognize.

Noah is an NFL quarterback who claims to be looking for true love, but constantly gives into the temptations that come with his fame and fortune. He finds his life turned upside down when he's unexpectedly traded from the Miami Dolphins to the NY Giants. He instantly hates the city life and is just trying to make it through the season so he can transfer to another team. Lonely and lost in his new surroundings, he's desperately looking for a connection he can easily sever once his year in the Big Apple is up.

After a chance meeting the two find themselves spiraling down a path neither of them expected as they both adjust to their new realities. Could the emotionally unavailable guy and the heartbroken girl abide by the rules of FWB or will they find themselves falling for someone they never thought would be their type?
