Lexi Davis, she was the type of girl who spent hours with her head in books. The idea of living a different life in different periods of time fascinated her more and more. After deciding to move with her parents to America, she finds herself working in a local library. She was a sceptic of happily ever after and handsome princes, she imagined them to be bratty and narcissistic, she'd never met one so she wouldn't know. 

Adrian Campbell, he loved the idea of living a new life. The one that he currently lives in is overbearing and complicated. He didn't choose to be born like this, so he also found a common interest in reading. Adrian may be snobby and rude, but deep down he just wants somebody to see him as an ordinary person and not somebody to use for their own personal gain.
