CAPTAIN PENNELL changed into the mermaid of happiness.

In 1929 in Saint Lucia, Grandma Pennell saw a grey-silver tail mermaid sitting in the centre of the Desruisseaux, Micoud river called Basaint Macobia combing her long brown hair with a golden comb. While looking into a golden mirror that shone like the sun adorned in the evening sunshine. She was startled by her and ended up dropping the calabash gourd which caused the beautiful white woman to throw her golden comb away. It landed on the ground as she dived away escaping through a tunnel that is connected to the Atlantic Ocean. Grandma Pennell picked up the mermaid's golden comb and swore from that day on she would find her and their home to return it. She became a marine biologist and captain at sea. Harmlessly, reenacting the scene she saw many years ago, Pennell combed her hair with the golden comb strolling in the ocean for a swim surrounded by an unknown island in the pacific. Miraculously,  the unthinkable happens she transformed into a rose-pink tail mermaid. She was the Pink Mermaid of Happiness; the Princess of the Seven Seas. And, of course, the Rebellious Pirate Prince, Lee of Oceania Kingdom in Kyushu can't stop himself from falling in love with her. As she realised her feelings for him as they embarked on an adventurous journey to Mermaid's Island in hope to defeat Sunset's King;  The Sea Dragon, Node.

Tension between mermaids and humans had always been high, especially after the queen of the mermaids had been killed by humans, regardless that it was an accident. So many years later when Princess Muriel becomes curious about humans, she keeps it to herself. Muriel lives in a castle with her father, sisters, and best friend, Percy. Some of her sisters blame her for their mother's death so Muriel avoids them when at all possible. She gains an interest in humans and trails after their ships. For humans, mermaids are bad luck so she knows that they won't attempt to harm her. The first time Prince Philip steps foot on a fishing boat he witnesses the crew catch a mermaid. Although terrified, he moves forward to help untangle her as no one else is moving. He prays that she'll forgive him. Worry forms when she takes a lock of his hair. Was that a way of marking him? Regardless, he doesn't fight, not wanting to make it worse. Worry increases when she's spotted again. Muriel begins to develop a crush on Prince Philip after he frees her from the net. When her sister's displeasure with her grows worse, Muriel seeks to avoid it. In a desperate attempt to do so she finds herself cave of the sea witch Minerva. Philip's kindness remains prominent in her mind when Minerva offers her a choice to be a human. Hesitantly she agrees, unaware of how different the human world from hers. Philip's bodyguard begins to catch on that Muriel is different and Percy and the king quickly become desperate to find her. My own version of "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen. Used to be called, "Mermaid Wish." (Magic in this world works differently than in my series, 'Tèarmann Chronicles')

" I regret my behavior, my lord, but at the moment, Lady Hazel has been called into Prince Charles's chamber." She emphasized her last word, conveying the significance of the summons to a prince's chamber. The tension in the room was palpable; she could see the fury in his eyes; the general wasn't excluded evidents in his clenched fist. It was clear that Prince Charles was in for a reckoning. Without hesitation, Prince Elric, accompanied by his general, swiftly made their way to his chamber, their swords firmly secured at their sides. He had endured his brother's behavior for too long, but when it came to his beloved, he would not tolerate any harm. No one could touch his Woman! ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ A Mermaid determined to break free from the constraints of her own World becomes intertwined with human Affairs. She finds herself entangled with her foster brother, the prince's trusted ally who seems to dote on her more than usual, and the prince himself, who is willing to go to great lengths to have the mysterious lady by her side. Following the animosity in their worlds, will they be able to carve out their path to happiness, overcome the schemes and weaknesses that bound them? Their stories are deeply etched into the hearts of the entire country, leaving a lasting impact on the nation.
