Nyx of Tyndall does not know love or kindness. Cursed at a young age by a jealous witch, Nyx has lived a life of solitude and death.
Until Gandalf the Grey requests her presence and uncontrollable skill in assisting a young Hobbit across Middle-Earth to destroy a ring so powerful all fall victim to its evil.
Not only must Nyx face Orcs, sorcerers, and creatures she's never seen before, but also the devil inside. Controlling the devil is the key to finding freedom in a spell that can't be broken.
