Jake visites Haiwaii with his family every year. One year, he meets Angie. Angie and Jake fall in love almost instantly. But Angie lives in Haiwaii and Jake lives in North Carolina. The summer after they meet, Jake comes back and only finds her parents and her siblings. Jake is soon informed by Angie's parents that she had died. Jake now goes through a state where he's so angry, and sad, he starts to separate from his family, and attemps at suicide. Jake's parents decide eto dent him to school for kids with depretion syndrome. Jake meets Allie there. She helps him find a new love to get his mind off Angie. But what will happen?
