Artemis Fowl II has had quite the last few years- of course, he doesn't remember it. Wiped of his fairy memories, he has reverted back to his old ways- ways which are becoming increasingly harder with his father watching him like a hawk. But Artemis needs something to distract him from the contact lenses mystery. So, when he finds out about some unusual occurrences in a New York town called Amity Park, he has some plans. Plans that, as always, are bound to wreck at least one life.

But is it possible Artemis has bitten off more than he can chew this time around?
