This story takes place with the events of season 4 episode 3 (gang of Secrets) in mind. Consider this a spoiler warning, as I update and write chapters I will look back to the show to stay semi-accurate but this is what I think will happen after Marinette tells Alya her biggest secret.
Marinette has never felt worse, it's a surprise she hasn't been akumatized yet. When her friends almost found the miracle box the only thing she could do was yell and kick them out of her room. Mari didn't want to upset her friends but it was the only way to keep her secret as Ladybug and the guardian of the miracle box.

Marinette's life was getting bad ever since Lila promise to her in which she told lies about what Marinette did but didn't do in which all of her friends except for Chloe, Nino, Alix, Kagami Juleka, Zoe and Luka turned against her and bullied her and not even Adrien who was her crush but got rejected by him and told her to take the high road saying that Lila's lies weren't hurting anyone but they were in which they were hurting her badly. Marinette's ex friends started to bully her and hurt her while Adrien didn't do anything to stop Lila from ruining her life in which the love for Adrien died out because Marinette sees for what he truly is and that is a spineless coward who doesn't do anything but take the liar's side instead.
