Aliens have taken over the world. After Vandal Savage made an alliance with the aliens, they betrayed him and forced Earth to take part in a horrible game, where it's literally kill or be killed. The Justice League did it a few months after Wally's 'death', and now only Batman remains. In 2017, though, it's the sidekick's turn.
