Blue Souls

The past 4 years have been very rough for Alec. He joined a choir halfheartedly, giving himself a chance to find a place where he belongs. His best friend Jessica says that he's multitalented and intelligent, yet lacks a bit on the social side. Talk about being #introverted.

As he enters the 11th grade, he meets a boy, whose name shall remain unsaid. The first time they met was not at all pleasant. Despite that, the two develop a relationship, one might say, even more than that of friends. Feelings for each other? Who knows? Someone even wrote a song for another, that cutesy-in-love type of songs. I wonder who that would be.

After Alec's last heartbreak, he looks forward to start all over again with him. Just as he is about to open his heart, he is left hanging, all alone. Could this be a sign that he should stop trying? Will he ever be able to love again? Somewhere out there, a blue soul is finding its way home.
