This is a rewrite of a similar story I made when I was around 11 - 12 that's story was called 99 Reasons And A Ghost. I renewed the entire premise - but this has always stuck out to me, the idea of rewriting this and what potential the story could've had, and so Im working on this now.

A Disordered Belief is about a teenager named Emma with her strange mother named Mary, who are both in this religion called The Order that's actually a secret cult.

Something happens on her 14th birthday that she doesn't quite remember as shes now away from the tiny world she knows, and is now trying to remember what exactly happened on that fateful day, while uncovering the secrets, the controversy and the truth behind her entire life.

Will she accept reality or continue to stay in her Disordered Belief?

That's the basis of the story.

Her brows furrowed. "You look like you have something specific you wanna ask me." The tips of Liam's ears turned red at Emma's very accurate observation. "I, uh... I usually just bullshit my way through projects, so I have no idea what the hell I'm doing." The corners of Emma's lips formed a small smile. Liam arched his brow. "What are you smiling at?" Her smile widened. "Nothing." Ever since Emma started going to Silver Creek High, she's been bullied over her discolored eyes. It all started when a boy brought attention to her in biology class one day, laughing at her and calling her a "freak" while the rest of the class laughed along with him. She never looked at him or saw his face; she just ran out of the room crying. She was now an outcast labeled as a freak and she wanted nothing more than to just disappear. She felt she had no purpose in life. Until her sophomore year when she fell in love with Liam, the guy every girl wanted; the guy every dude wanted to be. He had stolen her heart and she now wanted nothing more than to be with him. Unfortunately, Liam seemed to want nothing to do with Emma. He seemed to be straight up avoiding her. They never interacted for 3 whole years. That is, until now in their senior year, when they get paired up for a school project. The two must put their differences aside and try to work as a team. But as they spend more time together, feelings grow deeper, and secrets start to rise to the surface. Warning: Contains mature language, sex, and topics of bullying, sexual assault/harassment, self-harm, and suicide

"She's right! She's right! I don't cut in the right spot." My hold tightens on my wrist. The red blood oozes out of my wrist. I slide up and grab my bag and run out of the bathroom. I don't care if people can see the blood I just want to get out. I race for the doors and shove through people. I earn a lot of glares and glances that read "weirdo." I ignore and push. I run to my house and lock myself in my bathroom. I don't bother closing the front door cause I don't care if people come in to kill me. I grab my razor and cut deep cuts into my arm and wrists falling into a pool of my own blood. • • • Evangeline has a great life. Friends? Check! Good grades? Check! Loving family? Check! As time progresses he finds that she isn't as happy on the inside as she is on the outside. Can he save her? Or is it too late? • • • Some rude language. Depression and cutting. Don't say I didn't warn you. Okay, I wrote this at the start of this year (may 2016) and I had very poor writing skills. This book hasn't been edited and the whole idea is cliche so I wouldn't recommend you read it but I'm not stopping you, either. Read at your own risk. • • • Copyright © 2017 by -moonlust. USER SERIES 1 Micah Rex: He's handsome, dangerous, reckless. An addict. When he walks into a room, people notice. People are scared of him, people don't look him in the eye. AJ Ferro: She's cute, nice respectful. A helper. When she walks in a room, people usually get flowers. People love her, people want to be her friend. Despite her cheery nature and soft words AJ has never had it easy when it came to addiction -or depression. Without his addiction, sadness and anger Micah doesn't know who he is -and he hates not knowing things. And, of all places, they meet at a rehab center. He looked at her and saw a peppy girl with no future. She looked at him and saw a troubled boy with a bad past. Micah wants to die, AJ wants him to live. It's only a matter of time before one of them breaks through or breaks the other. - I was 12 the first time I took a hit off a joint at a party, smoked a blunt by myself and bought a bong. I was 13 when I started drinking alcohol for fun. 14 the first time I took ecstasy at a college party I snuck into, the same age I lost my virginity. This was the first time I went to a mental institution because it's also the year I first tried to kill myself. 15 the first time I smoked meth, took a bump of cocaine, shot myself up with heroine. This was the first time I got sent to rehab, it didn't work and I came out worse. I was 16 when I tried to commit three times in the same year, the last time I got my heart to stop for 30 seconds. That year was also the first time I snorted Hydrocodone, getting me started in opiates, I experimented with Xanax and liked it. And I was a month from 17 when I got sober. - "Fuck you." I snap. "You already have." Micah bites out. "And I'm pretty fucking sure you liked it too, if your orgasms were anything to go by." - "I want-" Micah stopped, running his fingers through his hair. "Never mind what I want. What do you want?" His voice is quieter now, more gentle. "You."
