Behind the walls of the palace of NayLa, the capital of Astar Kingdom, lives the NayLa ménage. Not of kin nor of blood or water of the womb but of blessings given by the lord above. Their fates are intertwined with many of red and blue and green and yellow string. Family. Friends. Of brother and of sister. They reside in the palace as lords and ladies under the rule of their lover the king, Luna. But who but the queen mother was truly the one who twists and manipulates the strings which the 14 are tied to.
She controls the rat and the ox and the tiger and the rabbit and the snake and the horse and the goat and the monkey and the rooster and the dog and the pig. And of course. Her son the King.
But on the fateful year which the NayLa progeny has all been revealed and founded and have all come of age, the world demands a banquet for the king and his lovers.
And so perhaps through this escape they may discover that fate when untwisted may be quite beautiful...

Trust?
Easton King has had a hard life. His parents abandoned him as a toddler and he's been from home to home for as long as he can remember. Nobody seems to want him, they just keep him for a little and eventually they all throw him away to be somebody else's problem. Because of this, he has never been close to anyone. He's learned from a young age that he can't trust anybody to stick with him. Don't get me wrong, he still has friends. In fact, Easton is one of the most popular boys in school. No one knows about his home life because he never talks about it and never hangs out with people outside of school. Derek Danvers (his friends jokingly call him DeeDee) has had a better life. He lives with his family and they are loving and decently forgiving like most parents are. He has suffered from depression and anxiety but not nearly as severely as Easton. He lives his life one day at a time and he doesn't depend on his friends but he trusts that they'll stay by his side, and if they don't then it's for the best. They didn't deserve him. Everyone in the school knows Easton puts up walls. No one gets within two or three feet of him, no one asks about his home life, and no one asks if they can go to his house or if he can go to theirs. At 18 he received a latter stamped with the royal seal of Salara. Thinking it was from his dear friend Lucan he opened it only to cry. It was from the king, "Lucan has been missing for 2 years now....and no demands have been made for his return. He was on his way to the Port town of Asoria to take the farry bound for Atiria. Though it pains me to do this...I must conclude he is dead....I am holding a service for him....I know it would please him if you were to come.
