It's the future and all of North America is basically experiencing an apocolypse. In 3013 a missile hit in southern america, it contained an unknown virus that has spread like wildfire and infected 60% of America, Mexico, and Canadas citizens as a whole. The USA has contained all healthy citizens from the sick ones. The government has convinced everyone that the outside world is a very dangerous place. But is it true? Everyone has their doubts. And the government heads on a downward spiral when Jr. Soldiers Gale Mathesin and Vala Mininger set out to save their city from being overrun with the sickness. But will there be a bump in the road of their 'perfect' plan? No inside citizens has ever seen the outside world. They need to find a new place to settle their citizens before the sickness overruns them all. As far as the rest of the world knows, all of North America is sick or dead. So where do they have to go? The year is 2133 and the world has regressed. In the aftermath of The War of 2015, a civil war worse than the first one, the United States has been reduced to kingdoms. It was thought that if one person could not adequately guide the country than 8 monarchies could. The country was split up and 8 families were chosen to rule the different kingdoms. For the most part, they are civil with each other. However, the former U.S. has been cut off from the rest of the world. The boarders to Mexico and Canada have been closed indefinitely and are heavily patrolled by the surrounding kingdoms. The other continents are progressing while the former U.S. tries to fix itself. In the war of 2015, the world was introduced to supernatural powers. It was found that more and more children around the world could do things that others couldn't even understand. Those children were researched and studied. Doctors all over the world tried to understand what made these kids the way they are. What changed in their DNA that gave them these powers? These kids were labeled special and were very revered. Andeline Masters is one of those children. She is also the daughter of the murdered King and Queen of the 1st kingdom. Her uncle, who now rules, abuses her powers and is slowly ruining the kingdom, bringing the other 7 down with him. Can Andeline save the kingdoms by following the directions of a Goddess she no longer believes in? Welcome to Lydia's world. It is filled with darkness and fear. Everyone is fearful. Demons and monsters haunt the wilderness. Dragons rule the skies, preying on unwary villages. Thieves roam the forest, stealing anything and everything they can get their hands on. Necromancers and wizards practice their skill in secrecy. Emperors and kings ruled the land. Assassins kill in silence. So many dangerous things in her world. S many risks and dangers around every corner. Lydia is a 17 year old teenager. She lives in the Horgolf village in the well known country of Abithia, which has many villages and cities. She is no normal teen. She is an assassin, born one and will die one. Her parents, who are farmers and own the farm in Horgolf, disapprove of her choice of career. Her brothers, Alexx being the oldest after Lydia, supports her greatly, but disapproves of some of her actions, while Gandell, the feisty 9 year old, looks up at Lydia and wants to be an assassin as well. Lydia's friend, Daniel, is also and assassin. Lydia has to travel all around Abithia and serve her group known as The Shadows, a group of assassins feared all around Abithia.
