Amira never went to second army so she joined first army with best friend Nicolas Stark. Being part of the same Regiment she comes face to face with Alina after all these years..but things are different for them. Alina didn't practice as she should of and Amira did..that's why when the day comes that General Kirigan is heading into first army camp..the General's initials are on her neck..being a strong grisha in hiding allows her the benefits of all Grisha. Alina notices but doesn't ask as she knew what her and Amira are but she knew she denied it for Mal.
