“Can you-- can--” I faltered, slipping on words, “Can you explain what the hell just happened?”
Paschar furrowed her eyebrows and flipped the knife into the other hand absent mindedly, “I did not realize the current situation would be hard to grasp. Are you aware of the basic workings of heaven?” she asked.
“Um, yes.” I said, flashing back to when I was eleven or twelve and still believed in the almighty power in the sky, who hated me for loving girls and smited people for touching themselves. This was a shockingly new revelation, and I suddenly felt kind of bad for all the times I kissed a girl at church camp, or touched myself.
