update 26.5.2022 -  I've gone through and edited all the chapters, fixing mistakes, changing a few small details, just trying to make it a bit more accurate to where things are right now, as I first wrote this over a year ago. same story, just a little different. hope you enjoy!

this is purely a love story. 

this is not so subtly about someone, if you know who she is, enjoy, if not, it's still just a love story, so also enjoy :)

DISCLAIMER: While this is supposed to portray "Lena," this is still just a fictional story, with a fictional version of Lena. I intentionally do not use her POV because that's not a liberty I (personally) feel I can take. We do not know her in real life and how she would act in these situations, this is simply how I decided to write her. Please don't take the version of her I create or you have in your head and apply it to who she is in real life, as I am not trying to place her on a pedestal, create unrealistic expectations, or sexualize her in any way.

In the shadows of Skyrim, love and power are never without sacrifice. A WLW Fanfiction following the Dawnguard/Serana questline (becoming a vampire). It follows a lot of the story and script, but with variation and expansion. There's a lot of romance, a love triangle, and spicy smut. Much of the story is based off of my most recent playthrough- I had never met Serana before and I truly loved Aela the Huntress as my companion, but once I met Serana, I threw Aela to the wolves, so to speak. I had to write a fanfiction of how I would have loved for the story to go, tying in details from the game. ***Please note, this is an LGBTQIA+ work. If you are not comfortable with that, please abandon ship*** ***If you are here strictly for the smut and don't care for the rest of the storyline, just jump right ahead to the last chapter.*** (I will be posting this on other websites in the future so if you stumble across it elsewhere, it should also be under the name Dakota Parker.
