June woke on the steps of the Mercy Home for Children not knowing where she was or how she got there. The biggest hole in her memory was the last 17 years of her life. Thanks to the kindness of Miss Mercy Redd, she is able to get back on her feet and start the journey for the rest of her life. If she's lucky, she may remember her life prior to 17, but life doesn't always turn out how you hope. 

More than anything, she feels trapped. Her mind is hers to some extent, but not enough to provide her with any comfort or freedom. Luckily, she meets Peter who can provide her with some distraction temporarily. That is, until, she's captured by Hydra. The unexpected is bound to happen though, and once again, June finds herself out of control of her own mind.

This story is split into 5 parts, each representing a different portion of June's life.
