A time machine goes wrong creating portals that do three things to people. One rip the body in half, causing a huge mess and a gruesome dead. Two, half transport a person, leaving random parts behind. Or Three completely transporting the culprit completely away.
In attempt to control the portals the government is trapping and containing people near portals.

Her dad always used to say that. He built our whole future pretty much anyways. She always wanted to be a good inventor just like him. Daddy's little girl. Her twin brother he has their mom's looks and she her dad's he's the troublemaker between them both but she love him to pieces and he's her best friend.
