Alessandra Onac has problems like hyperthyroidism, asperger's syndrome, and was once a has-been anorexic. The only thing that's clinging her to life is passing her college years as a part-time Poet to make it big in New York. But New York is a long time from now, so until then Alessandra acts like a normal. And when her Professor assigns her a project on what is "normal" she doesn't know where to start.
But when her distant cousin Magnus comes to visit from Canada, everythig changes. He's social, fine with the cold weather, and is healthy from sports. As if he was the complete opposite of Alessandra. And Alessandra believes, with his help she can finally know what "normal" feels like.
