Sentiment of a Witness

Jupiter looked down at his hands and shrugged, "I think he's embarrassed. People tend not to like Witnesses - it's hard to be friends with someone who can see all your secrets."

Perhaps embarrassed isn't quite the right word to use here. How about scared, or fearful. Of what, you ask? Of judgment. Of pain. Of suffering for something that cannot be helped.

My knack has caused so much pain and so much loss; sometimes, I wish I didn't have it.
