Ace Combat Elective

Submersible Aircraft Carrier Alicorn. A craft capable of discharging a nuke with a range unseen in any other vehicle. Seemingly surrendered, the surreptitious crew instead deigned desperately to fire at their target, the capital of the Osean Federation, Oured. Only through the immediate intervention of the Three Strikes in the Sky, Trigger, did they miss yet the fight is still not over: the Alicorn still possesses one more nuke, as the crazed Captain Torres hatches a plan to reengage their target while the only man who can stop them is all out of options.
But when all the cards are down, it's time to use your ace in the hole.

An alternate event revolving around the final checkpoint of the Ten Million Relief Plan, the final Special Mission in Ace Combat 7. Written from a first person perspective and based on a comment I wrote with some deliberation mixed in.
