The covers pooled around Jeongguk's waist as he sat up in his bed. Piercing, lilac eyes narrowed at him from up under the ceiling and then the creature moved. He stealthily crawled down from the rafters and landed on the floor with no sound, his wings fluttering and making sure he landed softly on his bare feet. He stood there and stared, moonlight hitting his sharp side profile, his crooked horns, long nails and taunting wings. But then in the blink of an eye, he was on top of Jeongguk, causing the boy to fall back with a quiet yelp. He glared down at him, wild lilac eyes boring into Jeongguk and wings stretched out, standing majestically behind him. 

But Jeongguk wasn't scared.
