There would be many lessons in one's life which life has taught in different stages. But from the past year to now, life started teaching us all the lessons at once.

It made us realise nothing is permanent in life. Even after having lakhs and lakhs of money, we can't be safe. Even the one with a permanent job can become unemployed. Even a well-running business with huge profit till yesterday can be permanently shut from tomorrow. 

We can pass classes without exams. Our schools and colleges can be held locked for several months even if it is not summer/ winter vacation. 

No one can guess the future. The situations can suddenly go uncontrollable.

These are some lessons pandemic taught us.

Even after these, we have still forgotten many things with the 2021 year arrival and now the situation is getting, even more, worse than before.

This is a small story based on present pandemic situations.

Hope you will understand the message of it.

Kanvika asked a small 9-year-old patient who was lying on the bed suffering from emphysema (a chronic disorder related to the lungs) I'm fine Dr didi and meet my big brother, she said pointing her hand towards the other side of the bed. Without looking first, she continued to say, "Hi this is kanvi..." her voice fading away as soon as she saw the person standing in the opposite direction. The other person, now taking the lead continued, "Hello this is Abhimanyu Agnihotri", forwarded his hand, and he was shocked to see her wearing a nuptial chain ( related to the wedding ). "Hi this is kanvika Baner.." she stopped again and proceeded to say, "Sorry I'm Kanvika Agnihotri " forwarded her hand too, shaking his hand. He was more shocked to hear her saying his surname instead of her name. He didn't even see her face on the day of their wedding. The very next day of their marriage, he had to travel to london for his company emergency meeting and issues. So he never got a chance to see his own wife's face. After 3 months he came back to India as his Grandmother was budging him to take care of his wife and take up his responsibilities. || A True Story || - My Tower Hill @Home Time Capsule Sometimes bad things happen in our world, but it is inevitable. Everything happens for a reason. It is simply a balance of the dichotomy: good and bad. That is how our lives work; most of the time, no one has a choice. We have to learn how to cope and deal with it. However, bad things always makes us stronger because we learn something after it is all over. Plus, we will not make the same mistake again. We like to believe that we are in control as humans, but no one has real control, ever. However, we do have hope that provides us with a life of purpose and direction. It is what shapes our humanity as a whole. This true story will be filled with my experiences, advice, and thank you's, relating to Tower Hill @Home and everyday life during COVID-19. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN. I was alone in my sanctum when I thought of it. "It didn't have to happen the way it did " I thought. Several reports , articles , interventions , letters , memos , essays etc have been written on the pandemic at hand : The Corona virus pandemic. Funny how it goes for the past few months , the static lockdown of activities due to the unheralded outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic brought about my titling of this novella "Pestilence at Nineteen". My review on a short article written by Abdusalam Wasiu a penultimate student of Guidance and counselling , in the University of Ilorin and the Chairman of the National association of Nigerian students , Kwara state axis , says and I quote an excerpt : "...If the Federal Government should keep saying people and students should stay at home till the active case of COVID-19 is circumscribed , students may be at home for three years or beyond being static educationally. The simple truth is , COVID-19 has come to stay..." Those words to some extent were heartfelt in all ramifications, but the part which kept reoccurring in my mind was the last part "COVID-19 has come to stay". Although he spoke from a more academic dimensis and perspective , meaning wasn't lost to the world in general as we have it. A more appropriate approach for the titular which I first proffered was PESTILENCE AT NINETEEN : A Nigerian perspective ; but then , I made some emendations which I thought necessary at the time. I seeked to uncover some facet of truth which have been hidden in the Nigerian quest for survival in this pandemic. The hunger , the strife , the impoverished , the family , the elitist , idealists , the plebe- the partitioning of these groups have alot of say to this Pandemic , some heard , some unheard and it all boils down to one thing , humanity.
