Andrea has lived through the same boring routine in the small town of Karma for her entire life.

She's not your typical Karma teen, living with her mother, obnoxious twin brother, and young teen sister, but she's pretty average. Well, besides the fact that she has no idea who her father is. Other than that, she's pretty average, and life is very boring.

But all of that changes when Aidan and Jacob show up. To keep from making her life sound like a teenage romance novel, she tries her at first to avoid them, and their apparent rivalry.

That's not too hard when it comes to Jacob, but Aidan is another story. He's sweet, charming, funny, and extremely handsome. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to be friends with him... Or more...

Andrea has no idea where these boys came from, why they're here, or what they're planning to do, but she gets the feeling it's not good. She decides to find out more about them. No sooner has she decided than she finds their fathers arguing in some strange, foreign language in the soup kitchen she volunteers at.

Now, more than ever, she wants to know what's going on with the new kids. But, what will the cost be to find out about their mysterious pasts?
