He was bullied by his childhood friend for being quirkless, and told he'd amount to nothing, not even his mother had faith in him. It made him feel like it was just him against the world, in order to attain his dreams... except, it wasn't just him. Did you think All Might was the first to believe in him? You're wrong, it wasn't him. No... it was someone before him. Someone who gave him hope. Someone who cheered him on and kept pushing him forward. Someone he never thought would be his motivation to keep going, even more so, when his quirk 'manifested' late. After all, she was only a kid... Eighty percent of the entire world's population are born with some type of special ability. They are called quirks. Many of those with quirks devote their lives to saving others. With heroism becoming an attainable profession it is only natural that children all over the world are trying to become heroes. After all, it promises fame, fortune and prosperity. To Kanashii Makoto however becoming a hero never was a goal, it was nothing but an order. Her whole life she had been working for one of the underground's most feared scientists in quirk studies known under the alias: The Creator. Kanashii was trained by the Creator to become the ultimate weapon against Pro Heroes. So it comes to no surprise to her when she is ordered to infiltrate the hero course of UA High School, the best school in Japan for heroes in training. Kanashii was taught her whole life that the Pro Heroes were the ones in the wrong.
