Derek is in no way excited having to spend two weeks in his grandmothers tiny home in her boring neighborhood. Grandma on the other hand, is overjoyed to have him for the beginning of the summer. Then, someone breaks into her home and stabs Derek, make her home a crime scene and putting Derek in the hospital. So grandma sets out to find the person who caused it all and bring them justice. But justice is not black and white.
