Kamryn Merric abandons his family because he believes there's more to life than killing and stealing. Shortly after arriving in Luxembourg, his brothers find him and convince him to rejoin the family for one last heist. For Kamryn, however, this time is different.

Kamryn first sees Prince Latonia during a royal cavalcade through the streets of Gaia's largest kingdom. Kamryn soon learns that that he's a prince from another land. Normally, Kamryn wouldn't care about trivial politics, but Latonia looks as if could be Kamryn's older brother. Brutus Stone, Kamryn's adopted father, found Kamryn abandoned on the Froth's shore seventeen years ago. Could Prince Latonia, then, be his brother?

Kamryn delivers the princess to their contractors and narrowly escapes the castle. Captain Robert Sterling of the Queensguard follows him and pleads for Kamryn to help him find the princess. In exchange, when Robert returns to the castle, he will permit Kamryn's brother, Fritz, to go free.
They reunite with Princess Claira in Binaia, a mythical city atop the mountains. Kamryn learns he is an Unholy Paladin, one of Morgaine's children. He also learns that this Prince Latonia is the prince of Paladine, son of King Rothages, who tipped The Balance when he usurped Paladine's throne. Latonia was sent as a political maneuver so that the Paladins could gain control of Gaia's most powerful kingdom.

Along with Captain Robert Sterling, it becomes Kamryn's mission to deliver Princess Claira safely to OWLend. The story ends as Kamryn gazes upon OWLend by ship. Captain Robert is hanging on for dear life after a wound inflicted by a mysterious headhunter and Unholy Paladin named Physician. As the princess mourns over his unconscious body, she grapples with the vision she received from Saturna.

Meanwhile, Kamryn wonders what's next for him and whether or not he is destined to be a hero.

The Before. There was a time before, a time of a great war, a time there were two kingdoms. War rampaged on the heels of jealousy bred by men's contemptuous hate and fueled by their desire to take what wasn't theirs. Two Kings fought wanting what the other had, holding the Bythe's fire at the tip of his knife The King of the South snuffed it out stealing with him the Jewel of the north. I am Bellary. I live with the tales of the before filling my dreams, and ringing in my ears, I am known as the Silent Princess of Loch. My voice was taken from me by force, an assassination failed. Left with the scars of my abusers to remind me and everyone daily. Haunted by nightmares, and faceless voices calling out to me I hide away in the walls of the castle, under the excuse that it's for my protection under the rule of my neurotic father and overprotective brother I have never tasted freedom. My father's constant fear that the men attacked me would be back to finish the job. I was insecure, maimed, and riddled with shame. The itch in my brain that I was missing something buzzed in my brain, there was a fire in my veins that called to be lit. With no words to speak I filled the void with the written word, I devoured the written word like a lioness hunting prey, and studying languages became my lover and I worshiped them passionately. Being a walking ghost among my kingdom, I heard words drifting on the wind, dripping from the walls and floating off of people like a permeating perfume. They were whispering warnings, the north was awakening, the north was angry, the north was coming. The north was seeking, the north was calling Ophelia home.

9 parts Ongoing

Randomly receiving a piece of parchment with a road-map and an "X" to mark the spot, Landry has travelled for so long that even his boots gave up. His journey brought him to Pollard's Grove, a generally unknown and quiet lumber village on the outskirts of the Wyrmwood, a densely packed forest with gargantuan trees at the centre of Lake Laga. There, he meets a friend he hasn't seen in years, a black-haired elf by the name of Maliah who is uncharacteristically concerned as to why she summoned him. With magical threads of light, how far could the story lead beyond the Grove? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The story takes place within my world, called Aurum. The known world is split into two continents, the 'Twin Continents.' The West Continent is home to Cleonth, Zalafold, The Northern Kingdoms and the remnants of Larune. The East Continent is made up of Elduira, Zanokar, Adraskia, The Huinan Empire and more. (Names may change.) The sea that separates the two is known as the Meridean Sea, and none can leave the Twins and return due to the surrounding boundless oceans, known as the Vast Blue. Many thanks to my friends Imp, Zero and Morgz for their invaluable feedback :)
