Erin Lindsay has been on the streets for as long as she can remember, dealing drugs, and doing the occasional favor for her mother, who keeps Erin employed.
One day, Erin ends up on the other side of town at an unfamiliar bar with her best friend, Nadia, and she meets Jay. There is a connection she feels-they both feel, and soon enough, they start dating, but keeping themselves and their jobs secret. Once she finds out that he is a cop, she runs back to her own, familiar world of illegality.
Will she find her way back to the handsome cop, or keep her identity secret, in fear of getting busted?
Chicago PD, Intelligence has caught a case of a major drug ring in Chicago, and they suddenly find themselves being irreversibly pulled into much more than that. Who will they meet, and what will they find out?
Then Nadia is shot, things get complicated for Halstead, Erin is a mess, facing her ex-fiancé, only a shell of herself, and things get even messier than they already are.
