Where there is a villain, there is always a hero.
Nowadays it's nearly impossible to watch television without some hero's face cropping up at one point or another. They're as famous as any movie or rock star, known far and wide for their heroic actions meant to keep whatever city they live in safe.
But what about the faces we don't see? The ones these heroes see every day, but we hear not a word of? Behind every hero is a family with parents, pets, even siblings.
This isn't the story of the bright-faced heroes covering billboards, and this isn't the story of the dastardly villains they fight on a daily basis, either. This is the story of the siblings standing in the shadows of their older brothers' and sisters' heroism, and how they banded together to save the world from an evil tyrant who intended to end it.

Hero's Protector
What would you do if you were one of these heroes? If you were the boy that lives with his single dad that's completely worthless, would you run away or keep fighting? If you and your sibling were hero and villain, how would you treat eachother? Would you fight them, or try to fight that part of your lives? Well, while the group of heroes are going through that, they go have some fun. They soon forget their responsibility and leave their leader to do the hard work alone. When it ends with their leader getting fatally injured, they must protect him from his father while also doing all his tasks. On top of that, mobs of people are surrounding him, now that they know he's a hero. Between angry parents, crazy teachers, evil siblings, reporting mobs and endless school work, these heroes are at their breaking point. Will the leader have to take control again, or can the heroes handle the job? In a world of masks and capes, who can you trust? Who's really the hero? So was the case for Kazuma as well, as his quirk soon found itself being held accountable for Kazuma being coined the word "villain" by those around him, before he could even begin his journey to becoming a hero. His only light in this darkness being his mother, is willing to do whatever it takes to keep that smile she treasures so much to never leave the boy's face. But... Being a human at the end of the day, she can only do so much. Follow Kageyama through his journey to becoming one of the greatest heroes in the entirety of Japan. What awaits him on this journey? Society loves heroes and hates villains and is blind to vigilantes, viewing them as either unsung heroes or understated villains... I like to believe different. Everyone is human at the end of the day, some are worst or better than others. After all, some humans hide behind the title of hero to get away with horrible things like abuse, murder, theft, negligence, etc... While others hide behind the title of villain to finally be free from terrible pasts or to just simply gain freedom they never had. Then there's others that hide behind the title of vigilante to either save and protect innocents or to get rid of those they deem their enemies. Everyone has reasons and beliefs that lead them to what they aim to do in life. I'm no different. After all... I didn't end up the number one villain in the world for no reason. The Hero's Guide to Heroing
A story about superheroes in a modern world. Once, humans and power wielders were at war. The war brought both side to the brink of destruction, forcing peace or extinction. A tentative peace prevailed for a time. Enough to build trust between the two sides for many years. But as the two sides grew together some of the old hatreds began to stir again. Those who held these old hatreds became known as villains, while those who fought them became known as heroes. "Are you sure this will work?" one of the figures around the table ask. All are dressed in black and hide their faces. No one wants to be known to anyone else in 'this' type of alliance. "I'm certain of it. We need to simply kill the few true heroes left, and then expose the rest for the self righteous corrupt creatures they are. I've already started gathering the pieces I need." "What's the end goal here?" a third figure asks. "To purge the world of corruption and all those who turn a blind eye to it." There is a long silence before a fourth voice speaks out. "Your talking about mass slaughter. I won't be a part of this." the figure stands and begins to leave the table. "It seems there is corruption in our very own ranks.... I suppose the best place to start is within the inner vessel, is it not?" "No! What are you Doing? Stop!"
