Their timing is never right - first he's on the run, and she's not staying in one place for too long. Then he vanishes for five years. 

Alex is a clone of the original Black Widow, a Red Room attempt at recreating their personal favourite soldier. 

She does her best to hide this, especially from him. 

They met while Sam was on the run with Team Cap. Now he and Bucky join forces with her again as she is also trying to stop the Flag Smashers for her own personal reasons. They become friends and allies, and have the potential at becoming more - as long as he doesn't find out she works for the Power Broker (SamxOC)All Rights Reserved

This is a sequel to Red Winter. I didn't plan on writing a sequel but here it is! Again, the events transpire in a timeline where they've restored everything after defeating Thanos and reversing the effects of the snap. This is focused on Natasha, Bucky and Steve only. I have always appreciated the dynamics of Steve and Natasha's relationship even if there is no romance in it. And I often wonder how Natasha and Bucky would interact in the present considering their past. Again, I don't own Marvel and any of its characters. Just like you I daydream what happens between the fades in and fades out, between the end of the movie, its mid-credits scene and end-credit scene. And this is the result, one of the results. The Red Room. Black Widows. Little Girls. Many girls have walked through come and gone through these walls. 1 in 20 survive. Maybe. They went from psycologically controling these girls, to full on mind controlling them. Training them to be assassians for one person to be in 'control' of the world. They take their childhoods from them, they take their emotions, and most importantly they take their free will. Natasha Romanoff got out. She became an Avenger. She became more then the assassian they made her. Never looking back. At least not after she thought she destroyed the Red Room. But she didn't really destroy it. And when she left, she left her two "sisters" behind. "Twins". When they were younger, they were all part of a "family". Undercover, as the two older agents with them were there to steal something. The mission lasted 3 years. Natasha knew it was fake. But the 6 year old Yelena Belova and Olesya Aleksandrovna, they didn't know. So they got thrown into the Red Room. Not a clue in the world as to what was going on. "Mother" probably dead from a gunshot wound. "Father" watching as they were taken away. "Older Sister" trying to save them, but failing in the end. So they spent the next 21 years, mind controlled. Forced to be assassians. No freewill. That is, until an older widow, cracks the serum. Finds a way to get the girls their minds back. He also has to contend with five long years of also being snapped, coming back to a sister with two young nephews. He's also wrestling with the legacy of the shield, what the now elderly Steve Rogers stood for as Captain America. But there are more surprises coming their way... far more than they expected. And a whole hell of adventures to be shared. But whatever they do - they're doing it together. The Falcon, the Winter Soldier and the White Phoenix.
