Artemis and Paul Schue-Horyn are hopeful that they'll get to host their podcast Wayward Guide for the Untrained Eye for its third season. But things get shaken up when their boss, Lesly Stone, gives the third season to his niece, Nikki, who is planning to go to Perry's Port, Newfoundland to investigate the mysterious deaths of the town's cattle- and assigns Paul as her technician. Incidentally, Arrtemis gets a call from Vern calling her back to Connor Creek. What will happen when these podcasters dig deeper into these towns than they were ever supposed to? Will they end up learning more about themselves? Or will they even survive to tell the tale?

NOTE: This is a fanfiction, which means only about half of these characters are my own. The employees of APN (save for Nikki Stone) and the citizens of Connor Creek are the intellectual property of Tin Can Brothers.

I stood with my back to her, shielding her, and my murderous eyes stared down at the poor excuse of a man, promising unimaginable pain if he dared to move or even flinch. The enormity of control it took me to suppress the impulse to eradicate the piece of scum, who dared to even think about laying a hand on a woman, was inconceivable. My whole body was trembling with rage. The guy was intimidated by the fury in my eyes and stumbled back to his intoxicated friends who were too dazed to understand the situation. I was disappointed and relieved at the same time that the chaos didn't end in a fist fight. When I turned around to console her, she was gone. And as I looked around, I saw her back just leaving the bar through the entrance. I hurried out to follow her. She walked ahead of me aimlessly and disoriented like a wounded animal that had just escaped the claws of death. My heart ached for her. I found a kindred soul in her. She evidently had been wounded in the past. Just like me. But in an even worse way than I had been hurt, and it angered me, that someone had dared to harm her. *** Eden Marie Simmons is still recovering after escaping an abusive relationship when she meets Keane, the broody and enigmatic neighbor who is shrouded in mystery. They both must learn to be brave enough to love again. *** Story is previously called "Paradise Lies"

She had pushed herself past her breaking point, and still continued on as if nothing was wrong. The demigod knew if she allowed herself time to take even a moment, her soul would physically crack in two. Now was not the time for weakness, if anything, she had to be stronger. She knew the other girls would mumble about her, but Icaria wouldn't listen to them. She refused to watch someone she loved fall at the hands of Thanatos again. If need be, she would offer herself to him in place. Yet, there was someone who noticed the young girl breaking apart. She could see the bags grow darker, and watched as Icaria began to eat less and less. It was the same someone who had saved Icaria all those years ago. And the goddess refused to watch that someone suffer any longer. The goddess, Artemis, stepped out of her tent in the early morning light. All of her girls were getting rest, taking the opportunity to relax with the very few days of peace they had left. All except one. In the distance, the goddess could hear the distinct sound of metal striking against wood. She took quiet steps, and watched Icaria Kane from a distance. The girl breathed heavily, her body slumped from exhaustion. "Icaria?" Artemis asked, stepping through the early morning fog. "Why do you cry?" The demigods body tightened, urging the tears to stop falling. She turned her body away from her goddess, clutching Hearth in her hands.

Each chapter is episode based. I don't own teen wolf or any characters/plot. This is just a bit of a retelling with some differences to the show. How will Olivia Rivers navigate life with the supernatural? And will she develop feelings for a certain sarcastic boy? Olivia: "Stiles. What wrong? Are you okay?" He's facing away from me. Stiles: "Oh thank god your here." He turns around quickly. He looks at me up and down, noticing what I'm wearing, and freezes for a moment. Olivia: "Stiles!" I say snapping him out of it. Stiles: "Right. Sorry. You just look really pretty."
