This is a story based in the modern day with Tobias/Four as a famous singer song writer from Chicago who now lives in New York, and Tris a famous dancer who is from Ontario, Canada who is moving to New York to become a dancer for the famous Four.  But when Tris starts to fall for Four and finds out that he is engaged to Lauren(a famous model), will Tobias marry Lauren or fall for Tris as well?
