Abandoned after his birth, Gintaro was cursed from the moment he was born, he grew up in the street stealing whatever he could just to survive, can that be called living? He grew up knowing that he was trash, that he was cursed.His life was miserable until this one night when he met this woman, she was beautiful, for a moment he thought he met a goddess.

For some reason she invited him to live her, at that exact moment he felt like he was the luckiest man in the world. He lived with her many years, he wore the finest cloths, he slept on comfortable futon at nigh and had the most refined meals from one of the best chef ever. He life changed for the better, despite all those good things, he always felt that something was off about that woman, he couldn't put the finger on it. It wasn't until he found her above the dead corpse of three man, with blood everywhere in her face, like she was eating them, that's when he knew...

He ran away as soon as he saw the horrifying sight, but the woman caught up real fast, but a man with a sword in hand showed up and faced the woman, that man said that he was from the demon slayer core and that he came to slay that woman. In the end, the demon slayer lost his life in that battle, Gintaro who survived decided to join the ranks of the demon slayers to payback the man who gave up his own life just so he can survive.
