Timebreaker

Rose is an Anomaly: someone with a rare genetic code that allows other-worldly abilities, in short: super powers. Anomalies are miracles, a scientific phenomenon that is yet to be explained. However, while Anomalies are cherished and hunted for in the Scientist's Quarter of Dellmoor city, they are abused and discriminated against in almost every other corner of the city. Unluckily for her, Rose lives in the Third Quarter, second to last in the pecking order of the quarters. Surrounded by a society who outright hate the Anomalies, Rose is forced to keep quite about her time-bending abilities: with abilities to speed up and slow down her place in time, she can look into the near future and bend it to her will: giving her a priceless upper hand in the confrontation she is yet to face.
When tired of the treatment her isolated quarter of the city receives, which depends on the ever rising crime rates, Rose prepares herself for a task like no other: to become an outward Anomaly and battle the crime rates. Paired with an unusual allies, success and a step towards equality does not seem that farfetched after all. But when the government and scientists of the city get word of their crime fighting combined with their Anomaly abilities, they pose a dangerous proposition to the team. One that could change their Anomaly abilities and the world as they know it forever.
