A/N: It started as a Darkling x OC book. But I couldn't justify that for the second season. So, for the second season, it has become a Nikolai x OC book. (I blame Ben Barnes even though I had read the books and knew what was coming, it still started with the Darkling, but then Nikolai swaggered onto the screen, and it just had to change!)

Season 1: The Darkling was quite happy to keep to himself, locking everybody out. But that was hard when a chatty hyper healer was determined to get his attention without even realising it. The one problem is that having the Darkling's attention brought a lot of unwanted attention in and of itself.
  Leigh just wanted to befriend everybody (well, not everybody; she would love to be more than friends with a particular shadow summoner.)

Season 2: Horrified by what the Darkling has done, Leigh does the only thing she can: run. Taking all that she knows with her, Leigh makes it to the other side. Determined to bring the Darkling down and make him pay for his crimesAll Rights Reserved
